The last part in our short series of competition updates was reserved for the ladies. Some might say ‘best comes last’ and we were very pleased to see three of our schools entering girl’s teams into the competition. For everyone interested read the update on our future Banyana Banyana here.

Cloetesville – Luckhoff 3:0

Cloetesville* – Kylemore 0:3

Game rated 3:0 against Cloetesville, because their team didn’t pitch.

Luckhoff – Kylemore 5:0

The girls section started off with a derby between Luckhoff and Cloetesville where the latter took the three points with a 3:0 win. Unfortunately the second group match had to be decided off the field because Cloetesville did not pitch for their game against Kylemore. As per the competition rules and guided by FIFA Kylemore got the 3 points and a 3:0 victory. That meant that similar to their under 17 boys the door to the final was wide open for Kylemore’s ladies, but again they were being stopped in the last game. Luckhoff progressed to the final with a confident 5:0 win and are now aiming to set the record straight against Cloetesville.
